Day 01: Thiruvananthapuram
Thiruvananthapuram formally known as Trivandrum, the capital of the State of Kerala, is a beautiful seaside city built on seven hills. The city gets its name from the word, Thirua Ananthapuram, meaning the city of Anantha or the abode of the scared Anantha on which Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the Hindu Trinity reclines. The city was the trading post of spices, sandalwood and ivory. On arrival at Thiruvananthapuram Airport / Railway station you will be received and transferred to your hotel and check in. Afternoon free for sightseeing, to visit Padmanabaswamy temple & Museum. Evening back to your hotel and Overnight at Thiruvananthapuram.
Day 02: Thiruvananthapuram – Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari, The Cape Comorin is the confluence point of three oceans - The Bay of Bengal, The Arabian Sea and The Indian Ocean. Apart from this, it is also pilgrim center, renowned for its exotic sunrises and sunsets over the horizon. One of the unique features of Kanyakumari is the multicolored sand found on its beach.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari, check into your hotel. Day free to visit Vivekananda rock memorial & Gandhi memorial. Evening after seeing the sunset back to your hotel and Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 03: Kanyakumari– Kovalam
Kovalam is about 16 kms from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala state. Kovalam has three crescent beaches formed by rocks projecting the Arabian Sea. Kovalam is a sheltered natural bay, its Shark free waters is fringed with Coconut groves and miles of fine stand. Early morning enjoy the sunrise and after breakfast check out from your hotel and proceed to Kovalam, check into your hotel and day free for beach and own activities. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 04: Kovalam-Kollam Houseboat
Kollam or Quilon, an old sea port town on the Arabian coast, stands on the Ashtamudi Lake. Kollam, the erstwhile Desinganadu, had a sustained commercial reputation from the days of the Phoenicians and the Romans. Fed by the Chinese trade, it was regarded by Ibn Batuta, as one of the five ports, which he had seen in the course of his travels during a period of twenty four years, in the 14th century. Morning after breakfast check out from your hotel and proceed to Kollam. Upon arrival check into houseboat, it takes a fascinating cruise towards the backwaters and Overnight at Houseboat
Day 05: Departure
Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Thiruvananthapuram Airport / Railway station on time to board the flight/ train for your next destination.
