Situated on the banks of the picturesque Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is famous all over the world for its avian population. Set amidst the lush wooded land, the sanctuary provide the close view of the variety of migratory birds, that come from Himalayas or far places like Siberia.
